Indie Rock at times is hit or miss with me. I am not into the over hyped Vampire Weekend or Russian Circles scene. I am not a hipster nor am I not afraid to state that I can listen to some Nordic death metal band followed up by Superchunk. So, with that statement fans of melodic Indie Rock should check out the band Brass. This band is wholly formed, consistent in its approach and musically sound.The five folks that make up this band know exactly what they’re doing, and in no way, shape or form did they sell the listener short on this record. Other than the song "Two Skeletons" which is not my cup of tea the rest of the album is a solid effort.
