Just how big will The Dark Knight be? Early indications from Fandango.com and Movie Tickets.com have stated that The Dark Knight has sold out more than 900 midnight screenings thus far. Advanced ticket sells for Saturday and Sunday from the aforementioned sites have surpassed Spiderman, Starwars and Lord Of the Rings and is on pace to have the biggest opening for a movie ever. Locally, there are currently 10 area Charlotte theaters that have sold out of midnight screening tickets. The Imax theater has sold out all of it's tickets for every showing thru Monday! AMC is reporting tickets are almost gone for Friday and Saturday night showings. In the words of the Joker "Here We Go."
